Japan's SoftBank is the latest cell service provider to get on board with Apple's iPhone following an announcement on Wednesday that it will begin offering the combination iPod and smart phone before the end of 2008. SoftBank's announcement helps firm up rumors that the next iPhone release will include 3G wireless technology since that's what the carrier relies on for both voice and data communication
