The new website Wizzgo offers a service which could be summarize as a online digital video recorder. You indicate a show/documentary available on the Digital Terrestrial TV, and it will record it and send to you.
Based on iTunes-like interface, it includes a synchronization modules with iTunes, and could be transfered to an iPod or an iPhone. You can place recording request for show and movies long time in advance, while even searching the future programs available on all legally accessible DTB channels.
It is only currently running on the French channels, but depending on the success it could rapidly be extended to other languages and channels. While it requires a client application for accessing and browsing the programs, it offers a Mac dedicated version, for once our favorite platform has not been ignored.
