The last few days there's been problems (again) sending (SMTP) .Mac mail (w/SSL enabled). This has happened many times over the years but still frustrating... (The main use I get from .Mac's nearly $100/yr fee is mail, and it's the least reliable service I've every had over the last few years.) Several long threads in Apple's forums on this - I had to laugh at one user saying he called Applecare and was told to send an email to .Mac support about it. (I guess they assumed he had another email service/acct to use - as the problem he reported to them regarding not being able to send mail...) BTW: I disabled SSL as a test and it worked, but that's not something I want to do normally.
