April 24, 2008 6:32 AMInside Mac Games has posted a review of the latest game in the Quake franchise, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Eschewing the frag-fests previously seen in the series, this latest game moves to goal-oriented gameplay. Here's a clip from the review:Team goals are clearly shown on the right side of your screen. These are the main objectives your team must complete in order to win the game. Players also have a list of optional secondary objectives they can cycle through (these objectives change according to each player’s class). While these aren’t needed to win, they usually make playing the game easier for your team, and communication is especially important when selecting which objective you will carry out first. There’s no point in building an anti-personnel turret if your teammates have already deployed three of them. An anti-vehicle or anti-artillery turret would most likely be far more beneficial. And before retaking your forward spawn position, it’s a good idea to find out if anyone else is already on their way before you take a big detour from supporting your team’s completion of the primary objective.Follow the link below to read the full review.IMG Review: Enemy Territory: Quake WarsEnemy Territory: Quake WarsAspyr Media
