After installing the earlier TM/Airport update 1.0 and running Airport Utility (5.3.1 from last week) a new firmware update (7.3.1) for the Apple AE 802.11N base was listed. I checked Apple's download page and it's listed there also (download page here). Per download page "The Time Capsule, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n* Firmware 7.3.1 updates include bug fixes. AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n* Firmware 7.3.1 also includes security fixes." But also a reader using an Airdisk (USB drive connected to AE N base) said Time Machine now shows/supports it for backup after the firmware update... (previously the hack/mod mentioned here last month was reqd for TM to work with an Airdisk)
