If you use a given NeoOffice menu item all the time, like Tools » Word Count, you may want to assign a keyboard shortcut for it. If you use the Keyboard tab of the Keyboard & Mouse System Preferences panel, however, it will not work when you try to use it in NeoOffice. Instead, you need to do assign a shortcut using NeoOffice's built-in keyboard shortcuts tool. Follow these steps:Select Tools » Customize from the menubar. In the new window that opens, click the Keyboard button.Choose a key that hasn't been assigned yet in the upper section.
