2nd DVI Port Performance Problems/No Quartz Extreme Support - BlackMagic Decklink HD Extreme card drivers

(Updated for Nth TIme today) - As I've seen a million times (literally) since 1997 - after about a dozen mails today finally I have the full info on the addons the 2008 Mac Pro owner had installed - the cause for his problems with 2nd DVI Port on the 8800GT (NOT COMMON) were due to an addon PCIe card/drivers see post for details and the vendor's support doc on the problem (from Dec. 2007) - that also notes an alternative solution.
