Paramount Home Entertainment quietly dropped its support for Toshiba's now dead HD DVD format in favor of Blu-ray on Thursday. The switch means that now all of the major studios have turned their back on HD DVD, clinching Blu-ray's spot as the high definition successor to the DVD
