I've updated the 2008 Mac Pro owner feedback page with 5 more reports - two noting they've had no freezes/screen corruption that several other readers have seen (often repeatedly). Included are notes on improved northbridge cooling (heatsink) and drive rail improvements (better dampening of drive noise). A couple more owners reported the reboot on wake from sleep mentioned by 2 readers yesterday so I asked if they tried resetting the SMC - that fixed the problem for a reader yesterday. BTW - the subject of underrated/suspect UPS has come up (again) - if you're using an UPS with your Mac Pro please include info on that in reports. That topic has come up in the past (i.e. G5 towers) Also added a follow-up from Oliver on using OS X 10.4.11 on his new mac pro w/2600XT card - he noted problems he didn't see with the X1900 card installed last week.
