After some initial problems, a reader sent notes on getting his Son's XBox 360 wireless modem (USB) setup on his multi-base wireless network of Macs and PCs. (X-Box 360 connects to X-Box Live and the internet and music, photo and video streaming from his MacBook Pro.) Updated with another reader's notes on using the X-Box wireless adapter in 802.11a mode with his Airport N base. (The X-Box 360 wireless modem is dual-band - supports 802.11a as well as B/G. (802.11a is 5GHz band, B/G is 2.4GHz, 802.11n is 5GHz or 2.4GHz band - Airport N base can be set to 5GHz or 2.4GHz modes.) Updated again with a reader's notes on range tests in 5GHz vs 2.4GHz mode.
