I've updated the page of Encoding Speed Tests with Elgato Turbo.264 Hardware Encoder with comments/screenshots from a G5 (dual 2.3GHz) owner noting impressive performance of his ripped DVD to AppleTV conversions using Turbo.264. His tests were done with v1.1 software, although on Dec. 12th they released a v1.2 update. The page also has previous comparison results from various Mac models with and without Turbo.264.
