Follow-up to yesterday's post on Leopard Drivers/Apps updates for (some) USB Canon Scanners/AIOs and some models not in the Canon list of 10.5 supported scanners working in Leopard. This reader mail includes notes that the N656U works in Leopard (if scanning app run under Rosetta on Intel-based Macs) and includes info/links to alternative scanner drivers for OS X from the "TWAIN SANE" project. ("Scanner Access Now Easy") Updated with thanks from a MacBook owner using the SANE drivers in 10.5 with his Canon LiDE 30 scanner.
