I've updated the page of mid-2007 (AL) iMac reports with notes from a recent buyer of a 2.8GHz/24in model saying he's seen the freezes (using OpenGL image viewer FFView) even though he didn't install the iMac 1.1 update. He also commented on image quality issues with EVE online using Crossover Mac and audio sleep/clicks/pops. The 1.1 iMac update included new radeon drivers that fixed some feature bugs (like anisotropic filtering) and an Aperture user previously noted the update fixed a highlights/shadow filter image quality problem. However he can't test for that now as he mentioned seeing some dust behind the glass panel and returned it to an Apple store to fix that.
