(Granted performance is not going to be good on slower CPUs, although a Dual G4 1.25GHz MDD tower owner said he was satisfied with performance.) There's also been reports on requiring a Core Image graphics card/chip (not just Quartz Extreme IIRC). And a G5 tower owner that had a 96xx AGP card plus a PCI Radeon 9200 said it required all cards installed to support it (not just the primary display's graphics card). I was surprised at that. I sent him a link to the original article on PCI Quartz Extreme enabling but someone else said it required Core Image support (not just Quartz Extreme).
