The free instant messaging client Adium X received an update on Monday bringing it up to version 1.1. Adium X 1.1 sports several interface improvements including the ability to orient tabs vertically or horizontally, tabs now display a chevron to indicate overflows, and buddy list positioning is remembered when connecting external displays
