I've updated the original article (from 2002) on PowerMac G4 MDD Noise Reduction (Pwr Supply Fan replacement) with a reader's notes on his recent fan swaps as well as another old tip of using Apple's CHUD tools "Nap" mode to reduce CPU temperatures. (Using NAP mode for lower MDD CPU temps was also covered here on a page back in 2004.)
