On September 1st, the main Macteens website will go dark for a couple days while we do some major updates. Macteens has been in need of some major changes for some time now. I am pleased to announce that we are implementing every last one of them.
Today, at a press conference in London, Apple and EMI announced the availability of DRM-free music for the iTunes Store. The music will be available in May for $1.30, thirty cents more than the standard dollar.
The much anticipated and oft-rumored 8-core Mac Pro was unveiled by Apple today.
Changing the world isn’t something to talk about, it’s something to do. Apple, Inc. knows that very well. Apple’s done a great amount more than most other companies have in 100 years. And on this past Friday, they did it again and released a third revolutionary product into the market: the iPhone.
As we?ve been bombarded with amazingly original and unique ?innovations? from WWDC, there have been a few overlooked features for Leopard that most people haven?t took notice of yet. As newspapers and blogs have been reporting (and groaning) about Leopard and the iPhone, they?ve been missing these little tidbits, almost like Easter Eggs in Leopard. These updates aren?t major innovations in the field of technology, but it makes a user?s experience with Mac OS X more enjoyable, to say the least:
With the announcement of Safari 3, the previously Mac-only web browser, for Windows and Mac, Apple has officially released its second foray into Windows software. It features tab organization, a new unified UI, speedier browsing, and that classic Aqua/Cocoa look for Windows XP and Vista. The big question here is: Why?
